Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei Emblem Workbooks can be purchased at the Scout Shop. Each Scout needs their own workbook. In addition to the emblems, we have a patch program for Cub Scouts. More information and registration link for these programs can be found below.

Religious Knots
By earning any of the Religious Emblems, the Scout is also entitled to wear the BSA Youth Religious Knot. Only 1 knot is sewn on scout uniform, no matter how many Religious Emblems the Scout earns. Note: The religious knot does not apply to our patch program.

Note: A Scout may only earn ONE (emblem or patch) per our Catholic Scout year September - April.
Also, patch designs might differ from artwork on this page when we get the actual patch. 
THE GUARDIAN ANGEL AWARD
  • Registered Kindergarten Lion Cub Scout who is Catholic.
  • Free

LIGHT OF CHRIST (LOC) EMBLEM
  • Registered 6 or 7-year-old (Tiger or Wolf) Cub Scout who is Catholic.  Scout must be current with their Sacraments and attend Mass regularly to earn this emblem.​​ We encourage completing this emblem in the First Grade.

  • Registered 2nd graders (Wolf) Catholic Cub Scouts in grade 2 only

The Parvuli Dei Emblem
  • Registered 8-10 year old (Bear or Webelos) who is Catholic. Scout must be current with their Sacraments and attend Mass regularly to earn this emblem. ​We encourage completing this emblem in the Third Grade.
