BSA has designated the Sunday before February 8th as Scout Sunday.

Working with your Parish, here are some suggestions on how scouts can help celebrate Scout Sunday:

• Greet the faithful at the doors of the church
• Pass out programs, bulletins and/or missalettes.
• Process in with the American, Papal, and/or Unit Flags
• Carry in the cross and candles
• Be an altar server
• Serve as a reader
• Take up the collection
• Bring up the gifts of bread and wine
• Renew Scout Oath
• If adult Scouters are Eucharistic Ministers, they can help with Communion
• Wear scout uniform to Mass
• Set up a scout information booth outside or inside parish hall
